For anyone else suffering: here's another way to solve this part :
Thank you so much, I did not realise the double jump and dash do not reset when you wall jump. Knowing to save both for the last jump was very useful!

can you please explain why up key isn't working?
It probably doesn't work because you should press the X + up arrow key to dash up. You should also press the Up key first, then X, in that order. or it'll dash you in a different direction instead.
